When the last time you...
HUGGED A TREE?
Mmm...not sure I remember the last time I hugged a tree actually...
Come to think of it,
I do remember the last conversation I had with a tree but...
...hugging one is a totally different matter.
What do you have to loose by hugging a tree?
(other than everyone thinking you are a little crazy?)
Just try and remember...especially when everything else may be
going wrong - caring for the environment by hugging, watering or
talking to plants is NEVER crazy or silly.
Well....maybe a little.
It's a brilliant idea, full of RISK-TAKING and FUN!
So remember to;
Important Note: Next week we'll talk about hugging house plants
and little creepy crawlers....but for now, let's just start with the trees!

Greenies Photo Contest?
When is the last time you entered a photo contest?
NEVER, right?
With so many people with cameras these days
(whether they have them on their phones, computers, or watches)
WHY NOT PUT THEM TO GOOD USE?
Perhaps having a photo contest in the school with an appropriate theme could be
just another example of how we advertise what we is going on
in Greenies and the things we are trying to do.
What say YOU!?!?
CHECK out an example of what I am talking about
For example;
Week 1 theme: Nature in my Neighbourhood
Week 2 theme: Nature at my Workplace
What themes do you think we could have?
Mmm...good question....Mmm.
I will have to go ask some of my friends who are in Greenies.
Respond to one of the post below and you will get CREDIT for participating in Greenies
today even though it's a Hartal Day.
Have a great day learning on-line or from school.

Places to look for garbage?
Good question.

2) The senior lounge, well areas, library, hallways, etc.?
3) Photo copier room in the teachers room (ask Mr.Monik)?
4) Clean containers from the lunchroom kitchen (ask Chef)?
5) DT rooms will have scraps of items (ask Mr.Kent)?
If you know any other places to look, please add a comment below this post.
